Firstly, we inspect, collate and clean your film using compressed air to avoid damage, (we don't use chemicals unless requested*). Our scanners then use Infra Red, Digital (ICE) technology to filter out micro-particles of dust and fibre that evade our air blowers. The results are stunning, clear images that last forever.

*Occasionally negatives can become stained if kept in damp or dirty conditions. It may be possible to clean stain damaged negatives using specialised chemical film cleaners, but we only see this as a last resort. DigiScan will only offer this service at your request. It should be noted that chemical cleaners can occasionally cause further irreversible damage to the emulsion layer of the film. ​
